The increasing interest in competition led to the development of performance programs. Today, these programs provide certification and titles in Agility, Conformation, Obedience, Rally, Stockdog, and Tracking as well as recognition to the top Junior Handlers. --ASCA®

The purpose of the ASCA Stockdog Program is to preserve and promote the instinct of the Australian Shepherd to be a versatile Stockdog. The programs showcase, preserves, encourages, retains, challenges, and rewards the working Australian Shepherd through certification programs and challenging trialing disciplines on several classes of stock. --ASCA
