Riddick is one special pup. It suits his personality to be a singleton. Especially since he thinks he is "pretty much it!"
Riddick gained a fan club during his 8 week stay here at Sliding S. I still have people ask us about that singleton 'red pup.'
Dan, Riddick's owner, has done a great job with him. Riddick earned his WTCH at the Haymaker Trial in 2018, one year later Riddick earned his SDCH.

Riddick's Sire Grit passed on long before breeding to Grit was a consideration. Grit had limited time in the arena but was a full time working cowdog on a ranch in Canada. Once in awhile a breeding comes along that break all the rules I thought I never would including a merle to merle breeding, I also never thought I would do an AI but it was worth it. Riddick now lives in Arizona and Dan is having a lot of fun with him, they will be a fun team to watch in the future.
